Desde este lunes 25 de octubre, el Hospital San Camilo volverá a recibir a las visitas de los pacientes hospitalizados, gracias en gran medida, al avance que se observa en el manejo de la pandemia dentro y fuera del recinto.
Cabe destacar que durante el periodo de excepción de la pandemia COVID-19 se instauró una suspensión de visitas y acompañamientos a pacientes hospitalizados, como una medida de contención para protección de los usuarios y el personal de salud, sin embargo, en el último tiempo se ha visualizado una mejora en la situación epidemiológica a nivel nacional, por lo que en pos de potenciar el cuidado humanizado, mejorar la satisfacción usuaria y afiatar el vínculo emocional entre el usuario y su círculo cercano, el establecimiento planteó la necesidad de realizar un retorno gradual al proceso de visitas, buscando generar un entorno seguro tanto para el usuario, su familia y el personal de salud.
“Estamos muy contentos de comunicar a nuestros usuarios que desde este lunes retomamos las visitas. Lógicamente que con ciertas restricciones, pero con todas las ganas de permitir que la familia o seres queridos acompañen a nuestros hospitalizados ayudándolos a su recuperación”, aseguró Nancy Villarroel, Subdirectora de Enfermería del Hospital San Camilo.
En la práctica, aquellos pacientes que permanecen en servicios como Medicina, Cirugía, Ginecoobstetricia o Pensionado, podrán recibir visitas dos veces a la semana por un periodo de una hora, ya que como todavía no se pueden liberar totalmente los aforos, es decir, la cantidad de personas por sala, las visitas se irán turnando entre las camas pares e impares de cada habitación, evitando de esta manera las aglomeraciones.
“Otro punto importante es que sólo podemos recibir una persona por paciente, siempre mayor de 18 años, con su pase de movilidad al día y esta visita no se podrá relevar con otros familiares, pues de todas maneras debemos evitar que un posible contagiado ingrese a las salas”, agregó la enfermera.
Para conocer los horarios, la profesional aseguró que se dispondrá de informativos en cada servicio y que también el calendario estará disponible en la página web del establecimiento, de manera de evitar también aglomeraciones en los pasillos o entradas. Además, desde el hospital se contactarán con los familiares de quienes cumplen las condiciones para recibir visita.
