Con el título Aportes Jurídico Académicos, la Universidad de Aconcagua presentará este jueves 14 de agosto a las 19:00 horas, la Revista de Derecho de la Casa de Estudios, publicación que agrupa diversos artículos que los profesores del área jurídica de la UAC han realizado en las cada una de las sedes a lo largo del país.
El evento contempla la presentación de la Ministra de la Excelentísima Corte Suprema, Rosa Engem Saldías, que realizará una charla magistral denominada “Una visión sobre la Carrera Judicial Chilena”
Consultado sobre la relevancia de la visita de una integrante del máximo tribunal a la casa de estudios, Claudio Gómez Castro, Director de la Carrera de Derecho, destacó que “este es un hecho de enorme relevancia no sólo para la UAC, si no para el Valle de Aconcagua, dado que en muy pocas oportunidades se ha contado con visitas de esta jerarquía en la zona y más aún en el ámbito académico”
Así mismo, Gómez destacó que la Revista de Derecho de UAC es una publicación científica, que abarca las diferentes disciplinas jurídicas, y que tiene por finalidad contribuir a la Ciencia del Derecho, promoviendo la investigación crítica sobre asuntos teóricos y prácticos, agregando que la revista ofrece en sus páginas, artículos de real calidad y que son un verdadero aporte intelectual al medio jurídico y social.
Finalmente, el Director de la Sede San Felipe de la Universidad, Javier Cerda, destacó el privilegio que significa para la entidad recibir el evento que dará el inicio oficial a la publicación. “Como Universidad tenemos la obligación de realizar aportes académicos en cada una de las áreas en las que formamos a nuestros estudiantes. En esta oportunidad el equipo de la carrera de Derecho ha realizado un gran esfuerzo para sacar adelante la Revista y como Sede nos sentimos felices de ser parte de su presentación, más aún cuando a nivel local hemos sido anfitriones de una gran cantidad de instancias de debate y discusión sobre los temas que hoy son relevantes para nuestro Valle de Aconcagua”, concluyó la autoridad universitaria.
Esta actividad es abierta a toda la comunidad del Valle de Aconcagua, y se realizará en dependencias de la Sede San Felipe de la Universidad de Aconcagua, ubicada en calle Pedro Herrera Balharry sin número, ex Avenida Miraflores, 2260 San Felipe.
