Según reconocieron los locatarios establecidos, todo lo que se había ganado en ordenamiento de la feria, poco a poco, en los últimos meses se ha ido perdiendo porque “ya no hay fiscalización constante, como se estuvo haciendo todos los domingos, con participación de inspectores municipales, Carabineros, personal de la Autoridad Sanitaria y personal de la Delegación Presidencial Provincial.”
Los dirigentes de los distintos gremios que funcionan en la Feria Diego de Almagro; como Chacarería, Bazares y Antigüedades, sostienen que el compromiso que las autoridades adquirieron de mantener una constante fiscalización, literalmente se olvidó y quedó en nada luego de la renuncia de la ex Delegada Presidencial, Maricel Martínez; “porque ningún autoridad no Municipal, Carabineros y la Autoridad Sanitaria han regresado a la feria”, lo que están aprovechado los ilegales para regresar cada domingo e instalarse ilegalmente.
