Aumentando en 14 por ciento las postulaciones, División Andina recibió a 102 alumnos en práctica profesional, los que fueron seleccionados entre 2.900 interesados en desarrollar en la cuprífera este proceso formativo, que se extiende por dos meses donde pasarán por toda la división para aprender y aportar en los procesos. El proceso empezó en agosto a través de la página web de Codelco. Y el interés por cursar prácticas profesionales en División Andina fue tal que se recibieron más de 2.900 postulaciones, para 102 cupos disponibles. Finalizado el proceso de selección y con el listado definitivo, los futuros profesionales fueron recibidos el pasado jueves y comenzarán su práctica a partir del 13 de diciembre.
Washington Madrid, analista especialista de la Gerencia de Recursos Humanos, explicó que la selección obedece a requerimientos de las propias áreas, tanto en sus faenas productivas como en ámbitos de servicios, seguridad y salud ocupacional, sustentabilidad y administración. “La idea en esta primera etapa es orientarlos para que tengan una buena estadía”, señaló.
De los seleccionados, casi la mitad (49) son mujeres. Como Guillermina Opazo, oriunda de Valparaíso, estudiante de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de Valparaíso. “No esperé quedar entre tanta gente, así que estoy feliz y mi familia igual”, indicó.
Asimismo, 59 estudiantes son del valle de Aconcagua. Fabián Valencia, vive en Los Andes, es estudiante de Ingeniería de Prevención de Riesgos de la UTFSM, y se siente con una tremenda responsabilidad. “Mis expectativas son superarme en conocimiento, personalidad y en lo académico. Esta es una buena opción, para aprender mucho. Estoy agradecido porque tengo la oportunidad de conocer varias áreas productivas”, señaló.
Convenios con liceos técnicos- profesionales
Este año División Andina, en el marco del programa Andina Más Cerca, suscribió un acuerdo de cooperación con cuatros establecimientos técnicos-profesionales de las provincias de San Felipe, Los Andes y Chacabuco, que contempló prácticas profesionales en la empresa a los mejores alumnos.
Uno de ellos fue Lenin Molina, egresado del Liceo Industrial Guillermo Richard Cuevas (San Felipe), de la especialidad de Electricidad. “Quiero aprender harto, hacer una buena práctica y sacar el máximo de provecho a esta oportunidad”, señaló con entusiasmo.
Mientras que Juan Ignacio Cossio, egresado de la carrera de Explotación Minera del Liceo Pedro Aguirre Cerda (Calle Larga), relató que “de mis compañeros postularon todos y quedamos dos, así que me siento afortunado. Quiero ser positivo, colaborar harto, preguntar y aprender”.
