El jefe del OS7 Capitán Felipe Maureira, precisó que la diligencia que culminó con los tres detenidos se inició por la denuncias de vecinos del sector de Cerrillos; “quienes informaron que en lugares desconocidos en ese momento por nosotros, ubicados en quebradas de cerros, estas personas estaban desarrollando el cultivo de cannabis y la producción la estaban trasladando hasta un punto usado como corral de animales, cercano a Cerrillos para la etapa de secado y posterior de la droga a diferentes compradores, traficantes y consumidores, tanto de la comuna de Catemu como el resto del valle de Aconcagua.”
Una vez establecidos estos antecedentes permitió al OS7 la tarde del lunes la detención de tres personas involucradas; MAET de 42 años, VAEV de 17 años, y MIRE de 22 años, padre, hijo y sobrino, respectivamente, todos sin antecedentes policiales anteriores, domiciliado en el mismo sector de Cerrillos en Catemu.
“Estas tres personas conformaban un grupo familiar que participaban directamente en este ilícito, por lo que fueron detenidos y puestos a disposición del Juzgado de Garantía de San Felipe por el delito de tráfico de estupefacientes y porte ilegal de armas porque se encontró en su poder una escopeta calibre 16 con munición del mismo calibre.”- indicó el Capitán Maureira.
En el mismo operativo se logró la incautación de 48 kilos 200 gramos de marihuana elaborada (cogollos) lista para sacar al mercado ilícito 100 mil dosis; “que generarían al comercializarla una ganancia aproximada de 100 millones de pesos.”
