El Partido Radical de San Felipe en evento realizado el sábado, oficializó pre candidatura a Diputado de Pedro Ávila, por el nuevo Mega Distrito 6. Con esto el hijo del ex senador Nelson Ávila, es el primero en ponerse formalmente en carrera para las elecciones parlamentarias del 19 de noviembre. La actividad de lanzamiento de la precandidatura de Pedro Ávila se realizó el sábado pasado en la sede del Partido Radical, ubicada en calle San Martín, que contempló una muestra fotográfica del ex Presidente Pedro Aguirre Cerda, entrega de documentos históricos inéditos del partido y, el grupo de danza folclórica Pangüe, de la comuna de Panquehue.
Ante los presentes, Pedro Ávila comentó en su discurso de lanzamiento: “acá sentimos que no tenemos para qué reinventar la rueda, lo que nosotros queremos hacer es trabajar con principios de antaño, con esos principios elementales que movían a la gente. Que son los que no pueden modificarse.
Y para ello, nosotros en el partido radical tenemos para inspirarnos de grandes personas. Porque nosotros, y digo nosotros porque este es un proyecto colectivo en el que circunstancialmente me tocó poner la cara y mi nombre, pero somos muchos los que estamos en esto.
Con mucha humildad, queremos hacer política con la visión de estadista de Pedro Aguirre Cerda, con la lucidez y honestidad de Enrique Silva Cimma, y con la garra de Nelson Ávila. Es con esos principios, y con esa rabia que nos da también ver a esos otros parlamentarios que no merecen su cargo, y con los principios que nos llevan del partido radical y con sus líderes, que aquí y ahora, yo manifiesto mi voluntad de ser candidato a diputado por el distrito número seis, y pongo mi nombre a disposición del partido”.
Oriundo de Rinconada y sociólogo de profesión, Pedro Ávila es el primero en oficializar su pre candidatura con miras a las elecciones parlamentarias de este año.
