En ceremonia realizada este jueves en San Felipe en los patios de la Prefectura de Carabineros, con la presencia del jefe de Zona de la institución policial, distintas autoridades comunales, provinciales, oficiales y personal de las distintas reparticiones de la jurisdicción, asumió como nuevo Prefecto el Coronel Pablo Salgado Durán. El traspaso de mando de la Prefectura de Aconcagua de parte del Coronel Marcelo Durán al Coronel Pablo Salgado Durán, fue presidido por el jefe de la V Zona, General Jaime Barría Montiel. Además estuvieron presentes los gobernadores de San Felipe y Los Andes, los alcaldes de San Felipe, Panquehue, Rinconada, Cabildo y Zapallar, entre otros invitados especiales y representantes de distintas instituciones.
En lo medular de la ceremonia luego de la lectura del decreto del Alto Mando Institucional nombrando los trasladados del Coronel Marcelo Durán a Santiago y del Coronel Pablo Salgado Durán como nuevo Prefecto de Carabineros de Aconcagua, el saliente jefe policial de las provincias de San Felipe, Los Andes y Petorca, se dirigió a los presentes haciendo un recuento de sus casi tres años al mando, destacando algunas metas alcanzadas y agradeciendo al personal que tuvo a cargo.
Luego hizo uso de la palabra el Coronel Pablo Salgado y cerró la ceremonia el General Jaime Barría, que destacó la labor realizada por el Coronel Durán y deseo toda la suerte en la gestión al nuevo Prefecto de Aconcagua, que lleva 28 años en la institución y que llega procedente de la Prefectura de Valparaíso.
Este señaló que asume con el desafío de dar continuidad a los lineamientos del alto mando institucional y la jefatura de zona; “como son el trabajo con la comunidad, acercamiento con la comunidad, la integración e interacción a través de un trabajo mancomunado para combatir la delincuencia y lograr mantener todos los indicadores que actualmente se han logrado en esta Prefectura.”
El Coronel Salgado sostuvo que su estilo de gestión es con los Carabineros y la comunidad; “en terreno”.
