En la villa San Alberto de Los Andes, el mantenedor de la mina subterránea de División Andina, Carlos Arancibia, dio inicio a un taller social de artes marciales para 30 niños y niñas. La sede social de la Villa San Alberto se quedó pequeña para la gran convocatoria. Niños y niñas de este sector llegaron con mucha energía y ganas de aprender a la primera clase de artes marciales gratuitas que se impartirá hasta fines de año, un equipo de monitores, liderado por el trabajador de División Andina, Carlos Arancibia.
Carlos, junto a otros cinco monitores, busca llevar a los sectores más vulnerables de la ciudad la práctica de las artes marciales, para así darles una oportunidad de desarrollo diferente a los más pequeños. “La idea es poder dar otra perspectiva sobre proyectos personales; con apoyo de monitores buscamos dar lecciones y experiencias de vida”.
“Yo viví en este sector, en la población Bellavista, y mi idea siempre fue volver a entregar algo que les sirva para no que se sumerjan en el mundo de la droga y la delincuencia y acercarlos al deporte. Uno tiene que cambiar el mundo, si no lo hacemos, nadie va venir a hacerlo por nosotros”, comentó el trabajador.
Los monitores cuentan con la preparación correspondiente en Kyokushin, Jiu Jitsu brasileño, MMA Artes Marciales Mixtas, animados en la idea de traspasar algo de estos conocimientos a los más pequeños. El monitor Francisco Pérez, fue el impulsor de la realización del taller en la Villa San Alberto. “Yo vivo acá y lo que queremos es sacar a los niños del sistema de drogas, que no se involucren en peleas, enseñarles que las artes marciales son un estilo de vida, una pasión”.
Andrés Avaria, de 12 años se mostró entusiasmado en esta primera clase y con ganas de seguir adelante. “Quiero aprender a defenderme, hacer amigos, conocer a los tíos. Me gustaría estar hasta fines de año”.
La iniciativa de llevar las artes marciales a las poblaciones no solo es de Carlos, sino de un equipo que comparte sus mismos ideales: Chileangrappling, cuyo profesor Alberto Zamora, es cinturón negro en karate Kyokushin y café en Jiu Jitsu brasileño, quien prepara a este grupo de monitores en el Liceo América. Paralelamente, Carlos Arancibia ha avanzado en su perfeccionamiento con cursos de preparación física, trato infantil y primeros auxilios, y desde el año pasado hace un taller, en el colegio Edén del Niño que hoy en día cuenta con 54 participantes.
